The Watercolour Society of Queensland (WSQ) is an incorporated Association and was founded in 1986. See our history page for more information.
Today, WSQ operates from shared premises known as the Hub, that are part of the Brisbane Visual Arts Community (BVAC) located at 140 Weller Rd Tarragindi QLD 4121. Office Hours are 9am to 12noon on the first, third and fifth Thursday of each month.

The Watercolour Society of Queensland Inc. is seeking interest from young watercolor artists in Australia to participate in the Watercolor Muster competition. WSQ will be sponsoring an Under 30’s Australian Emerging Artist for 2020 competition. We encourage all artists to participate and develop for their future watercolor journey as we help take their Artwork to FabrianoInAcquarello – Italy. Australian Artists have submitted their Watercolor work and have been selected to hang & be part of our new Digital Online Exhibition Gallery during the ‘Australian Watercolor Muster’ – All artists will automatically be part of the Selection Process for FabrianoInAcquarello – Italy 2020**.
