Watercolor Society of Queensland (WSQ) is seeking an under ’30s Emerging Artist  from Australia for 2020 Watercolour Muster

The Watercolour Society of Queensland Inc. is seeking interest from young watercolor artists in Australia to participate in the Watercolor Muster competition. WSQ will be sponsoring an Under 30’s Australian Emerging Artist for 2020 competition.

In 2019, a panel of judges chose Mi Nguyen to become our first Emerging Artist finalist.  Mi’s watercolor painting entry shows the elegant and soft tones that bring out the pleasant and calm feeling. This is the highlight of her painting.

We encourage all artists to develop for their future watercolor journey and help take their Artwork to FabrianoInAcquarello – Italy. Like last year, this year too the chosen under 30s emerging artist will benefit from the sponsorship watercolor society is offering.

On 5th June 2020, the call for entries opened to all artists who now have 3 months to experiment and get your ‘Best’ Watercolour ArtWork ready. However, all artwork must be submitted by COB 5th September 2020.
